VICTORIAN, EDWARDIAN, ART DECO,
ART NOUVEAU, ARTS & CRAFTS

Michelle makes traditional and contemporary leaded lights and stained glass; doors, windows and internal screens.

Traditional lights are created to match the period of your home or the historical architectural glass design in your local area including Medieval, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts and Baroque.

Projects vary, from a simple grid of colour-tinted clear glass to panels containing detailed paintwork and mouth-blown antique glass.. Michelle is a glass painter and can replicate painted detail of birds, branches and flowers, typically set in roundels or grided panels.

Alternatively you can take a contemporary approach and develop a contemporary design brief with Michelle to match both architecture and interiors.

The commission process begins with a free consultation and price options are discussed at this first stage.

Whatever the project, the client is involved in selecting a glass and colour palette with Michelle before making begins.

Please email or phone if you wish to discuss any project whether a small repair or new commission. You can also arrange an appointment to visit the Bridport studio.

HERALDRY

Picture
Heraldry and Coats of Arms can be translated into glass as a centre-piece in a window design or just as a piece to hang in front of a window. This process often involves traditional processes of etching into mouth-blown glass and intricate hand painting which is kiln-fired. Pieces suitable for hanging make unique gifts and can be delivered internationallly.

Each piece of work is priced according to the following factors; size, glass and decorative processes, intricacy of leading and intricacy of paintwork. Prices start at £500 + p&p
