A family crest or coats of arms can work as a highly decorative feature in a window design or as a free-hanging panel to be hung infront of a window. Such pieces are often made by acid etching mouth-blown antique glass and are intricately painted on many layers using ancient paint recipes and silverstaining and sometimes with sgraffito backgrounds. These pieces may require a 4- 6 months to complete from the order date depending on other projectwork. They can typically cost from £ to £ depending on intricacy of design and decorative processes.
