​Each commission begins with a customer enquiry via email or phone. At this stage an idea of cost can be given if you have the window measurements and some idea of design. You can then make an appointment to visit the studio in Bridport to develop a design with Michelle or just stay in touch via the internet or phone. A visit to your home can be arranged if it is a repair job.

Copies of traditional windows with little design adjustment do not have a design fee and there is a free consultation to make glass selections for your commission. There are a plethora of designs to chose from on the internet or from old design books. Michelle has a wide selection of glass to choose from in her studio including antique mouth blown glass with seeds and striations and many subtle variations in colour across the spectrum.

Windows typically take between 1 month and 4 months to complete. Very intricately painted work or large projects can take longer.

A window is costed based on three factors, intricacy of design, glass selection and paintwork.
Any design fee is agreed before any work commences and installation is available as an additional cost.
