Michelle studied at the Welsh School of Architectural Glass in Swansea. She attained an award from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass in 2008 which gave her the unique opportunity to work and study in cathedrals and glass studios across the UK and Germany. She was a prize winner for the Stevens Architectural Glass Competition 2008.
She setup her art studio in 2010 at Swansea Studios, Maritime Quarter and studied part-time as a post graduate in Glass (Fine Art) graduating in 2013. In 2016 she moved to Trondheim, Norway and worked in conservation at Nidaros Domkirke Restaureringsarbeider for three years. Now she lives and works in Bridport, Dorset, England.
' Whether it is a small piece of glass which needs repairing in a Victorian house or a large grisaille panel which has been damaged in a church, all architectural glass tells a story and is rooted in a rich architectural history I am interested to preserve'.
